The APEC Water Systems FILTER-SET-ES is an effective replacement pre-filter set designed for Essence series reverse osmosis systems, ensuring cleaner and better-tasting water. With three high-capacity filters, it significantly reduces contaminants and helps maintain system longevity. User-friendly installation adds to its appeal, making it a reliable choice for households aiming for improved water quality.
Overview and Key Benefits
The APEC Water Systems FILTER-SET-ES provides a comprehensive pre-filter replacement designed for Essence series reverse osmosis systems, including ROES-50, ROES-PH75, and ROES-UV75 models. It features three high-capacity filters: a 5-micron polypropylene sediment filter and two 10-micron extruded carbon block filters. These stages effectively remove common contaminants such as dirt, rust, chlorine, and unpleasant tastes and odors. NSF-certified and constructed from durable materials, the filters not only ensure clean, great-tasting water but also help extend the lifespan of the RO system. With its manageable weight and compact dimensions, this filter set is easy to install under the counter and compatible with a range of standard RO setups.
Filtration Performance and Material Quality
The first stage consists of a 5-micron polypropylene sediment filter that effectively captures dirt particles, dust, and rust, preventing these solids from reaching the subsequent stages and damaging the RO membrane. The following two stages are 10-micron extruded carbon block filters designed to eliminate chlorine, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), odors, and taste issues, thereby enhancing water quality and safety. Utilizing high-grade carbon technology, these filters exhibit superior VOC reduction capacity. Moreover, the product is NSF-certified, providing consumer confidence in the claims of contaminant removal and overall filtration efficacy. This three-stage approach ensures water not only tastes better but also protects the integrity and longevity of the RO system itself.
Compatibility and Ease of Use
The FILTER-SET-ES is designed for seamless compatibility with several APEC Essence series models — notably the ROES-50, ROES-PH75, ROES-UV75, and their variants — as well as any other standard-sized under-counter RO water filters. The set is sold as a 6-month supply, emphasizing the manufacturer’s recommended replacement interval to maintain optimum filtration performance and flow rate. APEC Water Systems provides frustration-free certified packaging, making the replacement process simple and hassle-free for users. The pre-filters fit straightforwardly into the existing RO housing, enabling quick changes with minimal mess or technical skill required. This convenience boosts user satisfaction and helps ensure clean water consistently.
